When Brady and other anti-gun orgs throw out numbers you can pretty much bet they are false through their magical math thinking. For example, they don’t want you to know their numbers of ‘homicide’ are not all murder and around (up to) 60% valid legal self defense (justified homicide) but the way they phrase it without qualification makes it perceived as ‘murder gun violence’ and the term ‘gun violence’ is made up to imply a ‘crisis’ that doesn’t actually exist because in reality there is no such thing as ‘gun violence’ but rather its ‘people violence’ but they want you to focus on ‘gun’ when in reality other weapons are used for violent criminal acts out numbering gun use 1,000 to 0.5

Notice though, how they didn’t say ‘children’. They got caught in that lie previously, so they started using ‘kids’ which can mean children or any offspring of any age not children where a parent or someone else can refer to them as ‘kids’ because they are younger than the person referring to them. ‘kids’ is not an exact term, it doesn’t have an age boundary like ‘children’ does. For ‘children’ its those under age 18 because age 18 and older are considered adults and that’s how they got caught in their lie previously as they were deceptively including age 18 – 20 as ‘children’, with those removed the number one killer of children is and still remains as it has for the last 60 years, car accident. For ‘kids’ age 18 and up there is actually not a specific number one killer as the cause of death but rather a combination with ‘unintentional injury (not gun related), suicide by other than gun, and medical reasons’. Heck, defective glass table tops alone result in over 30,000 deaths annually for ‘kids’
